I would like to run this at high setting around 50-60 FPS, could I do that?

Probably not. If you overclock your CPU and your GPU maybe, but even high graphics require a pretty good system to run at FPS of 50-60.

You will probably run on medium settings, with maybe one or two items on High. I'd turn on VSync and just set the video options to AUTO. It seems to do a pretty good job of determining what it can run at. Trust me, it will still look great. BF3 scales well.

you should be able to run on high without aa i have a 5870 and bf3 runs well enough on high 45-65 avg fps. if you want 60 fps minimum then you can run most settings on high but you will have to turn down some higher end options...
for online you want to play medium or lower to get the maximum fps

Should I buy this monitor? - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...
It is 1600x900... I think my Card will run better on that resolution. what do you think? But if I were to buy a 1080p monitor and BF3 didnt run that good on 1080p, could I turn the resolution down to like 720p or 1600x900? Or would that make the game look really big and "weird"?

I would take a higher resolution over the lesser any day of the week even if I had to turn down a graphical setting or two.
