I have just acquired a new laptop Dell Latitude D505. Images on the web, both
Gif and Jpeg are poor quality, that is the edges are blurry text looks
blocky. I have tried to adjust resolution etc with no success.
My current resolution is 1400 by 1050. Normal size DPI 96.

Can anyone help???

since your laptop monitor is TFT you should look at the manual and find its
resolution and adjust the display to that resolution. This does not mean
that
the TFT monitors cannot display other resolutions, it just means that on
its correct resolution the images are better.
