I just bought a new cool case, it has a transparent side panel with a fan on it,

my problem is that there is a blue light on the fan that is very bright. and it keeps me up at night..

now.. I don't want to cut it or unplug it, cause the light is cool..

but is there anyway to make it less powerful?
I can't cover it, cause then the air wont go out...

Are you any good with electronics? Theoretically if you stick a resistor in there that should lower the brightness of the LED.

Go snippity snip on the led.....

It's not about good or bad, it's about which gets you rich and laid faster.

if one were so inclined you could put a switch on the led

If you have any technical skill it shouldnt be hard.
The LED just runs off two wires, one ground and one to the 12v line.

Just a matter of snipping and wiring in a switch or resistor or rheostat to reduce its intensity.

Or better yet, how about attaching some curtains to your case window?
