hi,
i believe my power supply has broken as my computer is refusing to boot.
i know it could possibly be any amount of different things, but which pins do i need to connect to test an ATX supply?

Register or log in to remove.

Unplug everything.
plug in PSU.
Connect up a length of wire from the GREEN connector to any of the BLACK ones on the motherboard connector.
(There is only 1 green one)

turn on the PSU at the back.
It should power up. If not its pretty rooted.

same get a PSU tester from eBay they work great =D.
