I had a Portable DVD player, im not too sure on the screen size but i'd estimate it was around that size. It was good while it lasted, but on one evening I was watching a movie in my room. Before going to sleep, i just turned it off & put it at my side and then in the morning to my horror it was on the floor with the LCD screen damaged beyond repair 
They're very useful though, especially if you're travelling or something however nowadays I prefer to carry a PSP with a batallion of games & movies.
