What would people recommend for the min specs for a notebook's graphics card if someone was a casual gamer? I am looking to buy a notebook for work, but would like the option to play games as well.

A notebook with the cheapest Centrino and a ATi RAdeon mobility video card.

centrinos aren't that great for gaming go p4m if you don't need the extra few minutes of battery life a centrino will give you. Wait for the ati 9600s they should be out in force within the next month.

@ 2.0Ghz, plus a radeon 9600 mobility video card.

a p4m at 2ghz with the 9600 mobility will do you just fine. The centrino 1.7ghz is about as fast as a p4m at 2.3ghz in most gaming situations so keep that in mind as well.
