Multiple Hard Drives, Multiple OS

My Mom has a small HD partitioned. On C she had 98 installed, On D I installed XP. I later installed a large HD as she needed more space. I want to un-partition C/D Drive, wipe out 98 and make the new HD F (the larger storage) the main drive. Is there an easier way of doing this without wiping everything and starting over?
I appreciate our help in this!

  1. You need a disk copy utility like Ghost to copy the d partition over to the larger hard drive. Once that is done swap the drives: master to slave, slave to master if using ide. Should then be able to boot off larger drive and then erase/reformat the old small drive.
  2. Thank you so much, that seems like such a better option than starting all over!
