We have discussed this in much detail.

We can't really do this at this time.

What I suggest is that you upload your pictures on your personal WWW page or something and link to it in the post.

We will continue to explore options, maybe what we need to do is have some sort of a site just with pictures of mods and stuff that readers have submitted.

Thanks!

Yeah, I could see how that'd suck up both the bandwidth for server that runs these forums and eat up storage space too. Graphics require a lot of space compared to text. The URL tag problably makes more sense than allowing IMG tags.

And hey, if anyone is looking for a free place to upload your pics there are probably still some free webhosts out there. I think <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com" target="_new">Geocities</A> even still does that. (Gee I hope so, since my website is still stuck there. I really have to download all of my site again in case Geocities ever goes down.) There's also probably <A HREF="http://www.bravenet.com" target="_new">Bravenet</A>. I know that they used to let people upload images to free accounts. I haven't checked lately though. But if they've kept growing like they were a few years back they probably even offer full free webhosting by now.

So if you just need a place to upload your pics you could do something like that and just use URL tags to show them off in posts here. :)
