I've used similar stuff but never on a case. Actually it was for a halloween costume, you could wash it right off. It says it will wipe off with windex so be careful with it, you should probably only do it on the inside of the case. I have a feeling that the stuff will wear off over time though if it can be wiped off at any time, maybe you can put a coat of clear coat over it and seal it.
