No, someone did creative editing of his previous state of the union address to chage what he said. However, I believe the fake one is more on key to the truth then the real one.

Whoever made this couldn't stand up to a pimple on President Bush's ass.

Last time I saw things like this it was from the Nazi (yes, the lovely national socialists that Europe created) propaganda machine. Or from the KGB organization (yes, its proven) of the 60's anti-Vietnam war protests.

The United States Of America is always helping, supporting and giving away money to the poorer countries of the world that have the resources, but not the freedom to make themselves economically stable. Protecting people of other countries from benevolent dictators and despots has always been a self appointed job of the US and its armed forces. A job in which we have been thanked and received praise from peoples around the world.

Try telling the prisoners of the Iraqi government (those that are burned, dipped in boiling oil, electrocuted, have tounges cut out, raped, forced to watch the rape and killing of their children and loved ones, or killed themselves for speaking badly about Saddam and wanting freedom and civil rights) that this is a war about oil and greed. Try telling the people of North Korea, the ones who are forced to eat bark from trees or starve, the ones who try at the risk of losing their lives to cross the border to reach South Korea (a country protected by the US). Tell the people who risk drowning in a home-made boat leaving Cuba, to reach the shores of a free country.

Take back all the use of force of the USA in the last 50 years, what do you have? A poor Stalinist USSR, a Nazi controlled Europe, A middle east under horrible and oppressive Islamic law.

World wide poverty, pollution and other chaos does not exist in a free society. It only exist in places with a communist, Stalinist, Marxist, or anarchist way of life. (and I would remide you the Saddam Hussien belongs to the Bath-Socialist (sp?) party)

I find it a little ironic the way the States provides weapons for certain countries (i.e Afghanistan) then destroy their country and its people and then turn around and offer them help by giving them a bit of food, blankets, shelter or whatnot...if you ask me, the only thing the US want is to be in spotlight...no matter what...and they always succeed...even though its makes them look like idiots quite often...

Yes, we armed the forces there against the Russian armies. As they were our enemies.

And what in our mush filled head proves that we destroyed afganistan? Did you see the condition that that country was in under the rule of the Taliban? And after the US got rid of the Taliban, you now have a country that is getting back on its feet, where women and childeren are not killed for exposing *gasp* a patch of skin on their face. Where little boys are not sodamized to fill the sexual whims of men who were not allowed to lust after or cohort with women.

And what interest did we have in Vietnam or Korea? People ask for our help, and we give it. Ethiopia gets help from the U, we have no interest in that flee ridden country. The US has what most liberal countries don't, moral clarity giving reason over moral relativism.

A wise person (who I do believe was an immigrant) said :

"America is great because America is good."

If you are hinting again towards oil, The US has enough oil in Alaska to refill all of the used oil wells in the middle east. Its the pressure from our own cultural Marxist, oops I mean environmentalists that keep us from drilling in a barren wasteland.

1. Calling people that are for nature Marxists is just plain bs... America is one of the most poluting industrialized countries in the Western World.

Vietnam and Korea where excellent places for the USA to fight indirectly against the so called threath of the Sovjet-Union.

I'm not sure about the Alaska oil... but the most important reason we need Arabic oil is because it is one of the few oil types that have a very low sulfer grade. If you burn large amounts of sulfer inside an engine it will destroy steel thus we need oil with low sulfer grade to mix it with 'normal' oil.

Oh... and you might be proud of Bush, at the same time the whole world is laughing about him.

People that put the means of production out of the hands of future generations for junk scince theories like global warming ARE Marxist. Read Das Kapital (sp).

As for us being the most poluting, look at how much work is done versus polution. the ratio is the highest in te world. And being a free country, we can afford to clean up after ourselves. If you mean CO2 levels, as some evniromentalists do, that is not poution. It is plant food. The more CO2 on the planet, the greener it gets.

Vietnam and North Korea were both helped by the USSR, the leading supporter of communism. We were helping to prevent the socialist/communist takeover of Asia.

Oh... so global warming is a joke. Weird that the entire world is still doubting about this.
And if you look th the USA in comparison with entire Europe (where more people live) the USA puts out 15+ tons of CO2 for each inhabitant while Europe is between 5-10 in West Europe, and between 10-15 in East. So who do you call poluting?
And did you know the total amount of forest in the USA degrades while it increases in Europe?

And CO2 is indeed plant-food... in the amount nature produces. But men produces douzens of times more, even so much that it gets in the higher atmosphere and helps increasing global temperature.

And how do you want to clean the atmosphere? It takes douzens of years for most poluting gasses to 'disappear' once it is in the higher atmosphere, and there is nothing that can increase this speed atm.

Communismn self is not bad, unless you want to be very rich. However it is an utopie and unreachable. That is why Stalin created stalinisme... which you can compare to a dictature with some communist aspects.

Quote :

And if communism is a good thing, why do so many try to get away from it? On that, why do so many come to the US for a better life?

Because it isn't a dictature like stalinism, because the economy is better, and because American propeganda makes it look like 'the promissed land'.

Let me respond to those things I can while I am at work (dont have the bulk of my sources here, but I will post later)

Quote :

Communismn self is not bad, unless you want to be very rich. However it is an utopie and unreachable. That is why Stalin created stalinisme... which you can compare to a dictature with some communist aspects.

Everyone says that communism is great if it would work. It has been tried over and over and failed every time. Freedom and individual liberty does not need anybody in charge of it. It jut works. And if you dont aspire to be rich, what motivation is there to do work? That is the fault of communism, There is no reward for those who work hard to produce, but lots of reward for those who take.

Quote :

And CO2 is indeed plant-food... in the amount nature produces. But men produces douzens of times more, even so much that it gets in the higher atmosphere and helps increasing global temperature.

There is no hardcore proof of this. The only proof of it is computer models that dont do ther reverse if run backwards. The earth's climatechanges as the earth warrants. When Mt. Pinnetoba (sp?) blew its top, it spewed more toxic gasses and polution into the air in one hour than humans have in their existance. When it gets cold, people talk of global cooling (the reason for the first earth-day), when it gets warm, they speak of global warming. We cant even accuratly measure tempature of the earth in its whole, and we can only referance our current knowledge for a few years. In the geological life of a planet, that is theblink of an eye.

Quote :

Because it isn't a dictature like stalinism, because the economy is better, and because American propeganda makes it look like 'the promissed land'.

So why is this bad? Must have a better economy for some reason? Look at technology, when was the last time you bought a good processor that wasnt designed here in the US? or OS? We have the means, th recources and he freedom to succeed. Here anybody can rise to a better level, If they work hard. That is the reason that ay economy based on our model works.. look at Isreal.

Quote :

And CO2 is indeed plant-food... in the amount nature produces. But men produces douzens of times more, even so much that it gets in the higher atmosphere and helps increasing global temperature.

If I keep feeding a plant with sunlight and water, t gets bigger. It grows seeds. More CO2, the greener it gets. If the forests dissapeared at the rate most people say they did, this planet would look ike mars. Also, in the US, the amount of forest land has doubled in comparison to the 1700's. Now the free market looks at it as a renewable recource, leaving loggin ompanys to plant new healthy plants, so they dont run out of their buisness.

George W. Bush is not our president. Our president(s), like I stated in another thread, are rich corporatists who are using dubya as a puppet to make themselves richer. We do not need to go into Iraq and start a war. Who will benefit from going to war with Iraq? Hmm, let's see, Boeing will, Lockheed Martin will, and all these defense contracters will. The Bush administration plans on launching 300-400 cruise missles a day at Iraw when the war starts. That's billions and billions of dollars, all going to a private company.

Bush's administration is filled with ex-CEO's; Cheney, Secretary of Treasury, SEC Chair, and many more, all corporate big wigs, all doing "favors" for their freinds.

When you look at the facts, George W. Bush is just plain too stupid to be president. He is a moron. He doesn't make any decisions that a president should, as he is incompetant to do so. He is only president because his brother in Florida rigged the election to make him win that state (which is a proven fact that the Secretary of State in Florida has basically admitted). Being as stupid as he is, dubya is the perfect puppet president, as he will is too dumb to question and will just go along with whatever his advisors (ie, real presidents) tell him to do.

Don't get me wrong, I think America is a great country, but when you put the power into the wrong hands (corporate America), the agenda of our country shifts from doing good to doing what's profitable.

You asked previoudly how Vietnam was beneficial to the US. Like a war with Iraq today, the Vietnam War put billions of dollars into corporate hands. Thousands of healicopters, dozens of jets, millions of tons of bombs, all expended in the Vietnam War, all bought from private industry. The only ones who benefited from the Vietnam War were US corporations, and boy oh boy did they benefit nicely.

I'll not argue at great length on this. After all, it started with a joke, and you hijacked it and made it personal.

Some facts:

Middle East produces 50% of the world's oil.
USA consumes 35% of the world's oil.

Energy Crisis?

You need to stop reguritating bullshit. All you do is reguritate anti-american setiment and bullshit.

There is absolutely no basis for proof of global warming. You CAN NOT take 10 years of data and draw any reasonable conclusion. You will have to wait another 100 years to prove global warming. Global warming and the ozone hole and all that good stuff is most likely a NATURAL phenomenom. Are you a scientist? Have you read a paper on the subject? Sigh..... People with an agenda will say anything. You can take any set of data and curve it to your liking, but the truth is you need more data to draw reasonable conclusions.

Communism? What do you really know about communism? Have you ever been to a communist country? Do you have any friends that live or have lived in a communist country? I'm married to a Russian and I resent your idealism. Stalin was ONE man! It was Lenin who founded the USSR and there were many many men that perpetuated communism in Russia. Communism in Russia does not equate to Stalin. Communism was great on paper but sucked in reality. Look at all the communist nations.....go visit them.

Forests in Europe? Please! You chopped 'em all down long ago. Europe is no better than the USA.

American progahanda make it look like the "promissed land"? Have you ever been to the USA? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE? WHY DO YOU KEEP TALKING TRASH WHEN YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE??????? Get a damn job over here and see what it's really like.

Almost all the Dutch laugh at Bush? You realize that your gov't is behind him right? Yeah, they are one of the gov'ts along with Italy and Spain for example that support him.

Did the world ask for Bush? No, it's the USA's leader and he has the support of the majority. You don't like him? Come and get him over my dead body!

Leaders suck, discussion is better? That's WHY WE HAD WORLD WARS! Appeasement DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, Sven, you're a good guy, but you are in denial. Please go to Amsterdam or Poland or Germany or France or.....anywhere away from your computer and see what Europe is really about. Then come to the USA and see what it's like. Then draw reasonable conclusions instead of spewing propaghanda driven anti-american sentiment.

This is not the place to be bashing America when many of have actually been there and you haven't.

-General Responce-

The only people in favor of Marxism [communism, etc.] are those unaffected by it; be that either those of political power, or those living outside of that system.

If you disagree with that then please, give your government (or, ultimately, the nearest crackhead) all of your money and go stand in a bread line. You may actually get some food by next week.

That said, most of the statements I've seen in this post thus far are uninformed bullshit. Excuse my language, but where do you get off? Most of the media out there - particularly the media being referenced the most - crying out against Bush and the 'great American evil' is purchased by THE LEFT. The MARXIST Left. And who has the money to do that? CORPORATIONS, that you all seem so dead set against. Ooooh, the revelations.

~~~~~~~~
George W. Bush is not our president. Our president(s), like I stated in another thread, are rich corporatists who are using dubya as a puppet to make themselves richer.
~~~~~~~~~

Wow. I am so enlightened now. Really. And I thought Clinton was bad, you know, taking all those bribes and running money from … lets see, Red China…. Who else? I’ll look the rest up later.

But, now that I think about it… I know it was mentioned. How could I have forgotten that voter fraud in Florida. Man, funny how Bush’s numbers kept shrinking the more Democrats Manhandled the votes. Well, and the more Gore whined. Gee, and those funny little half dimpled voting cards… well, that couldn’t have been from the rod shoved through Republican votes to nullify them. Man, I just learn more every day. Thank you for enlightening me, oh gullible one. I must endeavor to check all facts with you first, to make sure they go down well with the easily distracted.

Funny how the only Voters that seemed to be ‘confused’ about the voting decision were Republicans. Didn’t see any of that for Democrats. Oh well, they must just be smarter. You know, with all those busses from elderly centers, and the residents having ‘gore’ written in magic marker on their arms and all…. You know, so the drool won’t wash it off. Take a look at the masses driven in for that sort of thing – its been happening for some time now, recruiting at old age homes, mental wards, and yes, even churches (wow, God and politics and they don’t even get taxed! Now is that special or what? At least preaching is still the appropriate word.)

I'm not going into the war right now - I'm too tired to make the point I want to without forgetting something I'll have wanted to say . Its too late for me to rebuke everything tonight - I have to wake up for work (that I barely get paid for - what with all the non-working bums I have to support: read, welfare) in a few hours. Given the chance (and gods I wish I could do it now) I will comment with quotes, on most of the drivel I've seen thus far.

Yea gods you people give me a headache. I’m going to sleep it off now.

I just heard Bush's State of the Union, the real one on Tuesday.

He had some good points:
- Remove double taxing of dividends
- increase the money to Medicare (might be impossible, though)
- Telling people to be a mentor . I agree with this, i'm my brother's mentor, he pretty much looks up to me and wants to be as smart as me :)
- Pass a law against all human cloning, well i still want stem cell research.

Bad points:
- Increase spending in all sorts of matters. 400Billion there, 300Billion here; The dude got crazy with money.

I'm with you on those. I was quite pleased with most of his plans. I was also curious about his current stance on stem cell research, but he didn't outright mention it. I'm hoping the medical feild can move forward with that - it shows such great promise.

Hope he actually gets those tax cuts passed - they get blocked at every avenue, but every time a tax cut has been tried in the past, its done wonders for the economy. Wish the people arguing it had a sense of history.

Yes, it ws good. I would like to see a law against partial birth abortion (truly a hideous practice)

And yes, I wasnt totaly pleased either whenever he was talking about new spending.. But 300 billion in the US's budget is like a few dollars in my pocket. They have a TON of our money.
