Doubtful.

Sadly, it is the reason I took one of my VZW accounts to Sprint. Contrary to
what you might read, the 650 is awesome, and then some with the right apps
and bt headset. P1 already made good on the bt car kit compatability with a
recent patch. If they do nothing else, I'm already happy with my 650. But,
I'm not sure it is in their long-term interest to stop there, and I doubt
they will. I believe there is even more to look forward to.

according to the local palm one rep verizon is losing a great deal of
business to sprint over this. plus, the sprint unlimited email/internet plan
is an extra $15/month, vs verizon at $50. can you guess that six guys in my
office are getting ready to switch?

The problem is there are people like me who don't need
unlimited anything. I *occasionally* check/send e-mail from my
phone and would therefore prefer simply to be billed on a
pay-as-I-go plan. With Verizon, I currently have it deducted
from my monthly minutes just like voice, not data. AFAIK,
Sprint charges you for every option at least $5/mo each. My
experience with Sprint with my Kyocera 6035 was horrible.

Your mileage will vary based upon the area where you live. You should choose
the provider that works the best where you live and travel. I like Verizon
but had to drop them because the coverage at my home is extremely poor. I
discussed this with Verizon and they are aware of the problem and said that
it may be years before they can install a new call site due to issues
regarding acquisition of land and city approvals. I switched to Sprint and
now have five bars at my home because they have the only cell site in the
area.

Sorry about your experience with Sprint. However, the Vision 1xRTT data options
are either flat-rate unlimited access from the phone for $15/month, or a la
carte per-KB access from the phone or one of the PC cards much like some of
Verizon's data plans. FYI.
