New cellphone recommendations

Replaced my startac 7868 two years ago due to cracked cover hinges and
superglue would just not hold them anymore :-). Replaced with a LC
something [it's up in the charger and I don't feel like walking upstairs],
color lcd, bunch of stuff I DON'T need. The LC phone is a POS and takes
alot of hits while I'm crawling around data center racks and stuff. The
Color LCD is terrible in my Cherokee and worse in one of my TJ's with the
top off. Looking at the V60P with it's monochrome display, with hardwired
in car kits. Hinges look a bit sturdier than I remember the startac being.
Don't want a camera, don't want a gameboy, don't want a browser. Did some
dejanews searches and it looks like it's been around for close to two
years. What are the pros and cons on it from those of you who have it. I'm
a network and systems engineer so I do alot of car time and onsite with
long days so quick recharging in the jeeps between calls also has some
bearing on it. Also noticed a couple of comments on different antennas
available for them, whats up with that.
