Im looking for a Tv that will server a multipurpose for me, gaming and television.

I like to game with my computer a lot, so my question is would this be a good investment? Would the 1080p bog my games down ( FPS wise )?

if it would would a 720p TV be doable?

BUt I'd suggest some other TV --- THat one is very expensive for what it is ( 40" 60Hz - no mention of response time ) and according to the specs does not have a PC input (No DVI connector so would require you use HDMI) -- Plus if using it for a computer monitor the added internet wifi connectivity is not needed since your PC could handle that so your paying for features you most likely would not use.

For Example I just got this 42" Vizio which has 120Hz and has a 5 ms response time and includes the proper connectors for use as a monitor for $100 less !! (though I am not using it as a monitor currently since I like to watch TV and use the computer at the same time so prefer using my ACER 23" monitor for the computer and the TV...

with 570sli 1080p will not be a problem for you, and going down to 720p don't worth it, go for 1080p!!
