Howdy all.
I am looking for a good-to-high quality PSU for my machine, but it also has to be quiet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i've got an antec true power 350 and i think it is quiet. i hear that fortron psu are good quality and quiet. if i remember correctly, you should look for one that has a 120mm fan - those are the quiet ones. i think they are around 40 dollars.

I recommend the Fortron Source 350W unit:
1.) It's inexpensive ($42 at newegg)
2.) It has a VERY quiet 120mm fan (adjustable speed)
3.) It exhaust heat from your CPU better
4.) Fortrons are rated at continuous duty, not peak, the 350W unit outputs over 400W by other companies standards.

I tested one on my very high demand system (P4 2.6C at 3250MHz, several hard drives, SCSI cards, 1GB PC4000, etc) and it worked great.
