advice for my first home built

I want to get a p4 3.0c, with a ASUS P4C800 deluxe mb, and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (not sure if 128 or 256 MB is worth it) vidio card, and a Western Digital 120 or 160 gig hd, and 2X 512 MB Corsair XMS 4000 memory.
please recommend a good case, pwr supply and cd/dvd components that will enable me do pretty much do anything i would want as far a recording cd's/dvd's.
also, if there are any suggestions or changes that you recommend i make, please let me know.

I did alot of looking around and really like this case (Enermax CS-10182-BA). It is the same case as the ultra expensive Thermaltake cases (They just smack their face plate, an LED, and a multifuntcion panel on), and tehy charge you an extra 60-100 bucks for it.

the SPI Sparkle 350 is a rather affordable PSU, and from what I understand would run what you want smoothly. It you want a DVD burder get the multi format Sony. WIl cost you about 300 bucks, but seems to be the best multi format burner out.

9800Pro buy the 128MB. Case Tiger Direct has Cheiftec Dragon mid T for $30 plus differant colors to choice from. A lot cheaper than my Antec. Same type case. All you will need is a good Psu.

Yea, but buy cheaper is it the really flimsy not aligned right foil case? I've never used Chieftec cases.. but last time i trusted a 40 dollar case i wanted to kill myself.

Im using a chieftec case, its good quality (in fact i love it so much im getting another one). No sharp edges, space for 4 fans, removable drive bays, and a screwless door (which is great if you open you computer a lot). I think Antec uses the same cases as chieftec.

The case he's refering to is made of 1.0mm thick steel. It's heavier and stronger than whatever you're using!

It's actually the original design case of Antec's "Soho server", I believe that was Antec's model 1080. You see, Antec doesn't make cases, the same company makes both Antec and Chieftec from the same materials, etc.
