Skyrim Save Files

Hi,
I have a cracked version of Skyrim on my PC just to see if I liked it. I did like it so I bought it cheaply so I could get the patches etc
What I would like to know is can I uninstall and reinstall Skyrim and keep my game saves?
I have the game saves in Libraries>Documents>My Games>Skyrim and if I copy them and back them up, once I reinstall my new Skyrim can I just paste them back into that place and will everything be normal?

Any one have any ideas? I seriously need to know, I don't want to delete all my game progress I'm level 36

copy and paste saves from the save folder will probably be ok. Well done for buying it. but level 36 FFS.

Should be. However, no guarantees...that's the risk of pirating software.

yes, copying saves works just fine. this is a modding game after all
