Hey, I'm a big case moder, and am usin a zalman copper flower heat sink w/ a 92 mm stealth fan blowin on it. My cpu is an ahtlon xp 2600+ and my mobo is sayin my cpu temp is like 75 degrees cel (yes, celcius, I checked many times). I was wonderin what your guys takes on it was, is my sensor smokin dope, or am I tripin. Keep in mind my case has uber air flow, has two 92's blowin air in and two 120's blowing out (on fan controler, nice and quiet =). The mobo is and epox 8k3a+. Any imput would be nice, thx

check the temp of the cpu with a probe to make sure the temp sensor on your mb isnt up the creak. If you have no probe then you can touch the base of the heatsink if it feels damn hot then you have a problem!!

If it is hot it could be a number of things from cpu voltage problems to a bad contact between the heatsink and cpu. If you are concerned about the contact then you could always try the selophane test to ensure a good connection is being made.

Someone please unwire me...the gadgets are taking over!
