im just wondering wat is the best case. IMO i think the alienware case is a great case. It has style, great potential for cooling, although it has no side window it does have protection for your valuble parts. What do you all think.
As long as it's a solid case and you like it. Buy it. I have a 1080AMG Antec. Solid as a rock. No window for mine. I don't care. To busy using puter to see what it looks like inside.
I have a silver Raidmax Scorpio 868W and I love it. It fits me and was a bargain ($57USD total including shipping from newegg.com!)
There are some case brands that use better construction (no sharp edges, sturdier metal, etc.) There are some case companies that make fancy premodded cases. There are your basic beige mid tower cases too.
Pick one that you can stand to look at, has some room for your parts, and you can afford to buy!
The old style Alienware case is a Chieftec, the same model chassis as the Antec 1080 uses, but with a slightly different front panel.

did you get the wavemaster? thats a nice case...used it in a freinds pc. My only gripe is IMO its overpriced...but still it looks real nice and is easy to work in...
If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a processor
110% BX fanboy
I love my two chieftec cases...nice a simple. I have to say that the Lian li PC75 looks like a great case, but its too pricy for me. I like cheap and cheerful.
I have the new style alienware case and it's awesome. Definately one of the best cases ive seen. But as of now my new computer sits in a somewhat cheap antec super lanboy case. I needed it for the 2 120mm fans which don't really do [-peep-] and for the light weight for carrying it around.

43k mark. 85 dollars went a long way.
Not an expert with a variety of cases..... First case was a LianLi Pc60, lets just say my Next Case will be a LianLi 60.. Lian LI ROCKZ.... Pay for what you get....
Yes, that will most likely my choice of case will be Lian when i decide to build again. But that wont be till next form factor.
I do however keep wanting to throw this in my alienware case, just so sad becuase i can't transport it around near as easy. I only have a two seater truck so not much room for a full tower case that is a bit bigger than normal tower cases.

Unfortunately it wasn't out when I bought my case... I agree though, it does look really good, and at last they've put a fan on the front of their case!!!
