I got the RaidMAX 668WS Case and Im having a problem connecting the front USB/Firewire pins into the motherboard. I have a Gigabyte GA-K8NNXP Motherboard. I'm having trouble connecting the individual connectors into the correct pins because of the labels on the connectors from the case are different than some of the labels from the motherboard manual. I have two sets of wires with several individual connectors, they are labeled as follows:

1st Set of wires: (all singles)
----------------------
TPA +
TPA -
TPB +
TPB -
VP
VG

2nd Set of wires:
----------------------
one connector with 2 slots labeled:
(1) Ground
(1) Ground
----------------------
(2) Ground
----------------------
one connector with 3 slots labeled:
(1) +5V
(1) -D
(1) +D
----------------------
one connector with 3 slots labeled:
(2) +5V
(2) -D
(2) +D
----------------------

I tried contacting gigabyte but they told me to contact raidmax but raidmax never replied to my email. Can someone PLEASE help me?

The motherboard manual is at http://america.giga-byte.com/Mothe [...] nnxp_e.pdf

on pages 35 and 36. on outlines 21 + 22. It is a diagram of where I should connect to. Can someone help me translate on which to connect to?

The TPA wires are for a Firewire connector. Look at your manual, that part should be fairly self explanatary.

I'm not going to look up your manual, if you care to list the connections on your board I'll tell you which cable connection is what board connection.

HA! They switched the pictures with the charts! The ten pin connector uses the chart under the 16-pin connector. Using the 10-pin connector:

TPA+ to Pin1
TPA- to Pin2
TPB+ to Pin5
TPB- to Pin6
VP to Pin7 (or 8, these are a common power point)
VG to Pin3 (or 4, or 10, these are a common ground)

OK, now for USB!

Align +5v with Pin1 (the other three pins are located correctly)
Align the other +5V with Pin2 (the other three pins are located correctly)

Connect the double ground with pins 8 and 10
Connect the single ground with Pin7
