I would think your proc would be doing ok. I have a i7 920 @3.4 and a GTX580 Open world its smooth as silk, I do drop to about 25-30fps in cities, but its hardly game breaking. The game only uses about 60% of my GPU, but my proc gets raped by the game. | Report abuse HEXiT December 30, 2011 8:57:12 AM http://www.skyrimnexus.com/index.php head over to this place and check out the tweak guides http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?c=409,411,419,4... or head here and get some advice and mods to help with the fps... i did and im loving skyrim, maxed out 60fps in most areas... well worth the effort of an hours reading and 20 mins of tweaking. | Report abuse AntiZig December 30, 2011 2:32:00 PM first of all, if your in-game settings aren't affecting your frame rate then the problem is elsewhere.
