Fallout New Vegas max settings?

Well, I would like to play Fallout New Vegas on my brand new (Pre-built I might add) PC.
Currently, I can run with minimal to no lag on the lowest settings. I would like to be able to play with the highest graphics possible with little lag. But, I don't know what to upgrade.
(I'd also like to play Skyrim, on any graphics)

My current specs are:
Win. 7 Home Premium
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5500 @2.80GHz
4.00 GB RAM (Plus I have a 2GB USB with ReadyBoost)
64 Bit
No pen/touch
Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset (This is a custom card, according to the stickers on my PC, and the fact that no games recognize it.)

My budget is around $300, but the cheaper, the better.

You need to get a new Video card. What is your motherboard?, so I can suggest video cards that will work in your computer.

Could you specify the model of that motherboard.

Your PSU should also be stated.

Also, what is the native resolution of your monitor?
