Just inherited one of these, little box that can charge 2 batteries at
once. Problem is, the orange charge lights don't stay on, they give
some sort of code which I don't know the meaning of

Battery 1 (known to hold a charge and last more than an hour) orange
light stays on for a few minutes, then blinks until the battery is taken
out and in again, at which point the light goes solid for a few more
minutes.

Battery 2 (found in an attic, may well be dead) light stays on for 30
odd seconds and goes out completely, until battery is taken out and
replaced, at which point lihgt goes on for another 30 secs.

Do I have 2 dud batteries, or do the "codes" mean something else?
