Hello,

I went to install COD 2 and after hitting, Run autorun.exe, automatically received an error message that says Library not recognized. I am running Win7, 64 bit on an intel core i3 motherboard/cpu.

Maybe you have a bad copy of the game. I just recently installed COD2 on my Win7 64bit OS everything went perfect.

Run as administrator. I just had the problem and assumed its that after a few minutes, since that's the only thing different from my other OS setups that I kept security settings on :)

as already said. you need to run any installer with admin privs... on win 7. all the cod games work on win7 64 but i did run both 1 and 2 in xp compatibility mode just to be safe so if you only have the basic version of 7 you may have issues(but thats a guess as i chose to run em in xp mode).

Well tried finding the compatibility but doesn't show up on Win-7-64 ultimate when going to
cd-rom right clicking.

Ask to run Macromedia flash player-but when I tried that it said it would be harmful
to my PC.
Can't find anything on Activision web site it's useless.......
