I just bought some uv items from Thermaltake, and they dont seem to work!

Light -
D0012 (BLUE) -(cold cathode uv light)

cabled -
UV BLUE 2068 (uv 18" ide cable) x2
A2096 (uv 18" sata cable) x2

All maked by thermaltake.

Now as far as i understand it, with my cold cathode (uv) light, and these uv cables, the cables are supposed to light up and glow (i am assuming with the light on). Well they do not. I even took my cables out of my case and put them right next to the light to see if anything changed...it doesn't. am i doing something wrong or what?

That's not a UV lamp. Note the conspicious absence of the letters "UV" anwhere in the product <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=00-883-005&depa=0" target="_new">description</A>
