HELP! my startup is always problematic

i have basically 3 senarios that varies whenever i on my comp.

1. the infamous blue screen appears. (but this didnt occur too often.) it
says i hav some usb hardware problem and since then, i removed all usb
devices. but the problem still occurs.

2. during startup, my screen will blink blank and back, blank and back.
especially when im clicking the mouse. almost seems like it happens when the
comp is busy. funny colours will apear too. for example: the wall paper will
become pink instead of the usual black for me, or the words will be green
instead of white kinda thing.

3. the comp will be on and after a while, the monitor will go on standby
mode when the comp is still running some programmes like winamp (i can still
hear music) but i cannot get back my display on my monitor unless i on-off
the main power supply.
