I'm using a HP dv7, with a ATI Radeon 6550M HD, and I get around 5 FPS anywhere, and ~172 Latency, home and world. I don't know why, but it makes this almost unplayable. I've tried disabling add-ons, but nothing seems to be working. A wireless/wired connection makes no difference. If anyone can help me, that'd be great. Thanks. (:

Your latency can be lowered a bit with Leatrix Latency Fix (look for it on wowinterface) which disables the nagel algorithm.

The 6550m isn't an incredibly powerful gpu, and I believe the laptop itself runs on an i3 cpu (dual core) correct? Can try disabling background processes, make sure multisampling is disabled, turn vsync and triple buffering off, turn shadows to LOW (this one is an fps crusher b/c of how wow is coded) for starters.
