I know someone who has a Chieftec 360 watt PSu, and it powers his 2800+, 1GB PC2700 and Radeon 9800Pro fine. Cheiftec are high quality in my opinion.

Yeah....I've bought the case including the power supply, and i've been using it now for a week...it seems real good...but i have a few questions though...
1. Is it normal for PSU to heat up so much?
2. I BARELY hear the PSU fans, even when i kneel beside it...and i BARELY FEEL any airflow coming out of the rear of the PSU...IS THIS NORMAL...it seems the PSU fans are at a very LOW rpm...to keep noise down??
3. Bios reports my speeds as:
CPU: 2560 rpm (P4C 3.0GHZ STOCK INTEL heatsink and fan)
PSU: 1150 rpm

are these speeds within normal?

IDLE CPU Temps witn MBM5:
37 degrees celcius with AC on (load: ~48)
42 degrees celcius with no AC (load: ~55)

My chieftec PSU was also very quiet, but I never noticed the air cumming out of it being very warm. If the system is running ok then it shouldnt be a prob, if you are really worried about it replace the fan in your PSU.
