Someone, please help, I'm going nuts (not too long a trip). All my
'net pages open with no problem, and in English. However, when I open
the Windows Update page, it's in Japanese.
This just started recently. Checked all possible browser (IE)
settings, also looked for any progs installed/deleted around that time
with no success.

In update click on the "more options" then select english.

That's one of the first places I checked, and English is the default
language. Also, as I mentioned, all pages except the windows update
page, opened from XP Pro support, are in English. Only one page is
affected. But, it's the one I need.
