Someone, please help, I'm going nuts (not too long a trip). All my
'net pages open with no problem, and in English. However, when I open
the Windows Update page, it's in Japanese.

This just started recently. Checked all possible browser (IE)
settings, also looked for any progs installed/deleted around that time
with no success.

I would appreciate any in-put on this.

TIA

I must be really dumb. When I go to update, there is no "more
options" option.

Thanks for the reply, anyway.

Now that one opens in English. The one that keeps opening in Japanese
is the Windows Update "default" page in XP Pro help and support
center.

Check here:
Tools - Internet Options - Languages.
The top language is what will be supplied

That's one of the first places I checked, and English is the default
language. Also, as I mentioned, all pages except the windows update
page, opened from XP Pro support, are in English. Only one page is
affected. But, it's the one I need.

Thanks anyway
