Minecraft and Vsync

Just popped into my head. Most of my games when I get over 60fps I have to turn vsync on to get smooth gameplay, now in minecraft I get around 200 fps but it does not get the same graphical tearing like most of my games but stupid lagg spikes sometimes. Wondered if anyone could explain this? Or I'm just wrong, and minecraft does have graphical tearing and somehow i don't notice it.

More about minecraft vsync
  1. Lag spikes in Minecraft is actually quite common, even for a high or low end system. Almost everyone seems to be facing this problem.
    Google for the answer.
