Can I use xbox 360 parts for a pc build?

In the art of trying to save money I have a 120 gig 360 hard drive and Dvd Drive. Can I use these items on a new gaming pc build (at least until real HDD's drop back in price)?

I was going to put Windows 7 on the HDD and maybe two games and a few movies. Thats all for now until I can go bigger. Is this possible

  1. No mate, its not possible.
  2. theoretically there should be no reason why you cannot use the HDD. Not sure if you'd be able to find proper drivers for the DVD tho.

edit: read above, gothems knows better.

PS> gothems: is it not possible to separate their HDD from the little enclosure they use?

Actually I may be wrong, it seems it is possible, for the HDD at least.
