BF3 Not Loading with new Rig?

Just installed my new rig today - 2500k + Extreme 3 Gen 3 Z68 ASROCK Board + 4x2gb GSkill 1600 mhz ram upgraded from a Q9400 + Dell Mobo + 6gb of some *** ddr2.

I reinstalled everything properly, all working new drivers for the good ol trusty 570gtx.

With the q9400 setup BF3 operated perfectly, no bugs, nothing, now I can't even open the game as I crash when I'm loading out of the browser. I get a "BF3 Has Stopped Working" message and asks me to close the program etc etc.

Anyone know why this is happening so suddenly?

More about : bf3 loading rig

Do you guys reccomend a clean install of windows?

did you just transfer the HDD into your new rig without formatting it? If so, yes most definitely wipe the drive and do a clean install of windows.

Exception code: 0xc0000005 normaly means the program tried to acces protected memory so the exe is corrupted. all you can do is reinstall the game. but because you have added so much hardware you HAL will need replacing too and the only way to do that is fresh install of windows. its most likely the latter that caused the former.

How do I wipe my drive? I'd like to totally redo this seeing as I just reinstalled windows onto a previously used drive (I used it from old rig)

Also - I already reinstalled windows because of my new hardware - Does this change anything you stated HEXiT? I already reinstalled BF3 once, same thing occured - Faulting application name: bf3.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4ece50fa

if you reinstalled windows, the the hal layer is fine and wont be the cause of the issue.
what you need now are the patches. and the latest performance drivers.. if your drivers are the newest then roll em back 1 or 2 iterations. but its likley you need patching most.

you may need to contact a Game Adviser for advanced troubleshooting. You can do that here: http://help.ea.com

that dll is the intel graphics driver for vista.

my guess is either your pc is trying to use the integrated gpu or you need to wipe the HDD clean and reinstall windows

This is happening with more than one game now - I tried it with TF2 and it wont even load. I would assume that this has something to do with Windows. How do I wipe my HDD clean and Reinstall Windows? I only have a Home Premium Upgrade as well (Does this mean I need a new copy?)

Restart your PC with your windows install disc in the drive. It should ask you if you want to boot from the cd (if not make sure your CD rom is the first boot device in your bios).

When windows installs it will have an option to format the drive before installation, you will want to do that.

Although if you only have an upgrade disc and not a full windows version this doesnt really help you.

yer upgrade disk will allow full installs you just dont select upgrade when offered it.
as you cant upgrade from xp you have to full install.

you have fully installed windows, and by that you have installed all the vcredist and .netframeworks? with out em a lot of apps will crash.
