help with new computer installation plz.

I bought a ASPIRE X-Infinity Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with 350W Power Supply without instruction booklet. can any1 tell me where to put the thermal detector cable? and i bought the 2 memory and it come with a cpu cooler gel.. how do i use it? paste it on the cpu like toothpaste? hope u guys understand what i am talking about for my suck english. Thanks
