I'd go with <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductdesc.asp?description=17-103-489&depa=0" target="_new">This One</A>, it puts out more power (600W).

Crashman, I know if you say that one puts out more power, than it puts out more power. However, can you explain to me how? The Antec 24a on the 12+, while the Sparkle is only 18a on the 12+? Aren't more amps on the 12+ line, a good thing?

Sorry, but I am missing something.

Sparkle uses Fortron Source, rated at 70% peak. And peak doesn't mean "blows up" but "shuts off". The reason they rate them at 70% is to assure the power supply lives the full 11 years.

I would go with Enermax. Many high end computer manufacturers use Enermax for their system. I think that is good indicator that Enermax manufactures great PSU. I have a few Enermax in my PCs and I never have any problem with them.

So if it only rated at 70%, does this mean you can still pull more than the 18a out of them?

Anyways, anyone else rate like this? I am thinking about replacing my PowMax, and sounds like a Sparkle power supply would be a good choice? Would you pick them over Antec, or Enermax?

Rated 18A at 70%, you should be able to pull 25A out of the thing, anything higher should kick the power supply off due to overload protection. I've always picked Fortron Source/Sparkle Power over the others.
