What is the best platform for playing Silent Hunter 5?

considering SH5 is a pretty old title most of todays configs will handle it...
anything from an amd4600+x2 with a 96gt (second hand less than 200)
intel 2100 gtx 450 for £450
intel i5 2500k gtx570 ssd setup for £1000
or if you have money to burn the intel i7 2012 3930k x2 7970's at around £2000 you can see theres plenty of choice.

Well, Silent Hunter was released only on PC, so there aren't any other platforms.

A dual core CPU with an 8800GT or a HD 3850 should run it well.

your not wrong. i ran it maxed @1280/1024 on a amd 6000x2 88gt setup.
