20 pin connector

i was searching for a power supply uprade for my HP pc. i found one with the same dimensions. the only difference i can see is in the 20 pin connector. the new one has a white wire in one of the slots. the old one has no white wire and that slot is empty. can i snip the white wire or plug it in as is. thanks frank

this is the number 18 connector and the mobo is asustek model p4sd-la. thanks

You should be able to plug it in as is.
