New Hard Drive Issue

I just bought a Samsung 160gb IDE HD and succesfully plugged it. And when I came to the Device List, I can see my both HDs without any problem. But in "My Computer" there's only C and D as local drives(main HD is partioned) and my 2 DVD-Roms but not the new HD.
What can be the problem?

Have you partitioned and formatted it?

Try right clicking "My Computer" then go down to "manage"
then highlight from "Storage" "disk Management" then right click the new HD and go to format....
That is what I did. Go to Samsung for more instructions...
I installed a WD 80GB a few months back and the web was great in helping me with this....
