KMPlayer gives error mssg

It gives this error message everytime I try to play a video on it.
"Access violation at address 0477867D in module 'gen_ml.dll_'.Read of address 00000028 ."

and you cannot minimize/maximize the window bt have to wait for this error and then after clicking ok everything runs fine again.This is utterly irritating,it didn't occur in XP but then also I hav the latest version and this is a new effective media player.

It looks like you have to uninstall the old version, check and clean the registry and reinstall the newer version.
