[SOLVED] Hard drive ticking in i-mac

I have a i-mac 21.5 10.6.8 3.2GHz intel core i3. After 8 months the hard drive has a constant ticking sound.

see if apple will replace it under warranty. They shouldn't make a loud ticking noise (they will make some noise, but if this noise is new then most likely there is something wrong).

Other than that back up your data in preparation of HDD failure. My HDD ticks really loud and has had a few bad sectors, but is still kicking. I'm surprised it is still working.
