I have windows xp, lately when i go to my add or remove program a error comes
up that says an exception occurred while trying to run
"C:\Windows\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
C:\Windows\system32\appwiz.cpl"

any help will be appreciated thank you

Try the SFC: "Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System
File Checker (Sfc.exe)" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310747).
