Background on problem & my question: When I boot up to my xp operating system it takes me straight into My XP screen, lists my desktop shortcuts, Start, etc; and DOES NOT go to my Logon User selection screen. My question is, Why doesn't my XP go to the logon screen to enable me to choose which Logon User to select :< ? Is there a setting that I have to activate trigger selecting a Logon USER ? Thanks in advance for any advice where to look, Setdhook, Eddie

I think if you go to the control panel (in classic view) and double click user accounts. Then click "change the way users log on or off". Then check "use the welcome screen" Hopefully that was what you were looking for.

do you only have one account on the computer, not counting the admin account? If so that is why its skipping the login screen. do as the above post mentioned and you will get it everytime.
