ive been looking around and have seen a few water cooling sets. the question i have is r they realy that safe? bcause obviouosly water and eltricity dont go well together. i would really like a water cooled system, but am afraid of the risks of it (and the cost  )

I have never had any trouble with mine, as long as you bleed test the kit for at least 24 hours prior to turning on the computer it should be fine. When I first turned my kit on there were 2leeks where I handnt pushed the tubes in hard enough, but since the computer wasnt on it didnt cause any problems.
Im using an asetek water cooling kit and the fittings are very strong, you have to use a lot of force to get the tubes out.

is it really worth the $150-$200 price tag? are they hard to set up? do they last long or need any repairs frequently?

They certainly last as long as any other component, altough you should refil them every 3-6 months.
I dont think they are really worth the price tag, I got mine because I thought it would be fun too install and it was.

they sell cooling kits for cpu, vpu, and mobo right? is that it or do they sell more?

Your best off buying each component separately - kits usually aren’t that good.

I have a water-cooling system, and they cool quieter, allow better over clocking, and look good. I know my cooler will last me for a long time through many CPU's.

I spent around £150 on:
Hydor L30 water pump
Danger Den RBX CPU block
120.1 Thermo chill radiator
Water plant Rez.
All 1/2" tubing.

I also added water wetter and some UV dye.

The asetek kits are good, esspecailly the antartica ones.
My asetek kit came with:
Hydor L30 pump
2x120mm pabst fans
2x120mm black ice pro radiator
res
1/2" tubing
northbridge, VGA and CPU cooler
adaptor that turns the kit on when you turn on the computer
All for £220

how do u send the cold water to the northbridge and vpu if it has already gotten hot going through ur balzing hot cpu? are there 3 different paths the water takes to each?

Ive daisy chained mine so it goes from CPU-northbridge-VGA, but this is still better than air cooling for the northbridge and VGA. You can split the water into three but your case will be a mess of tubes.
