How does the side fans work?
<A HREF="http://images10.newegg.com/productimage/11-133-134-01.JPG" target="_new">There are no side windows, and no holes for the air to go in or out...</A>
<A HREF="http://images10.newegg.com/productimage/11-133-134-05.JPG" target="_new">But there 2 fans right on the side</A>

I just don't get how the side fans ventilate the PC...

They could use ducts and direct air out the back of the PC. If not, combined with other cas fans would generate additional circulation over processor, chipset and ram, which could help keep temps lower.

The indent for sliding the case open has ventilation holes and it appears the case has a blow hole in the top. Plus I would imagine other images would show exhaust fan/s on the rear.
Hard to tell without knowing whose case and model number it is...

Read my case review <A HREF="http://www.sysopt.com/reviews/ThermaltakeXaser7000A/index.html" target="_new">HERE</A>, it explains everything. Yes, I know the case has a window, but the ventilation is identicle as is everything else (except the window).

Basically the lower fan recirculates warm air over the GPU, which only has the advantage of breaking up the hot pocket of air which normally exist there. And the upper fan draws air through the holes in the handle.
