I just got a new asus socket 939 mobo and the antec 380w. psu that came with my case has a 20 pin main power connector. However the connector on the mobo is for a 24 pin connector, am I missing something or do I have the wrong PSU, if so could someone please point me in the right direction for a new PSU that will work with a 24 pin connector. Thank You

Nope. 24-pin has been around a long time in servers, and recently was introduced to PC's. But because most power supplies are 20-pin, most 24-pin PC motherboards can use the 20-pin. Such boards also have the 4-pin (square) ATX12v connector. The 20-pin connector fits into the 24-pin socket by offsetting it 4-pins to one side. You'll know which side it offsets to, because it won't fit offset to the other side.
