$80 budget to get headphones, help me choose

Looking to pickup a new pair of headphones for my new PC. they will primarily be used for gaming & listening to music. on rare occasion watching some movies

I have about an $80 budget
I will be using them for gaming, but microphone isn't super important to me because I don't talk much anyway while playing

the two i'm looking at now are the:
Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset
Turtle Beach TBS-2214 Ear Force Z6A

anyone have experience with these? any recommendations for these or other models you use?

I would like a surround sound headset, 5.1 or 7.1

thanks

  1. If you read some reviews on the internet you will see that, if you have a nice sound board, you can buy those p/2 headphones, otherwise it is best to use usb headphones.

ANd make sure you get real 5.1/7.1 headphone, they must have all the speakers in order to be REAL, otherwise they just use prologic to simulate the effect it is not the same effect.

From the 2 you are looking i would take Turtle Beach TBS-2214 Ear Force Z6A looks good, with real 5.1, and you have the option p/2 or usb.

for online gaming you will need headset (with microphone) so it is good to be prepared already...
