Same problem as Magne with explorer.exe

I recently have been having major problems with the computer usage. After
roughly six hours of being on, the computer becomes extremely slow and pauses
every couple seconds disrupting music playback, mouse movement, basically the
entire system. I looked at the performance and with no programs running, the
CPU usage is 25-35% and up. The only way I can fix this problem is to
restart the computer every six hours.
