I've been lurking and reading the forums for awhile. After a lot research and reading I think I have my build down for BF3 and skyrim. Plus hopefully newer games that soon come out. Seeing what you all thought I'll get to the build now:

Budget: Around 1k give or take

Use: Gaming

Website: Newegg

Buying: Soon as I get tax return

You double posted the mobo instead of linking a GPU, but so far looks rock solid. Maybe skip on the OCZ SSD in favor of a more reliable brand, though. OCZ SSD's are pretty much the most notorious for failures.

Thanks for the correction didn't have my glasses on. Any recommendations for the HD I'm open to all suggestions.

your build will play bf3 very well. As far as storage goes, usually you just want an SSD as a boot device/have programs you use quite often on it, and then a larger standard HDD for mass storage. Re-use whatever HDD you currently have and pick up one of the SSD's from Crucial, Samsung, etc. There is actually a list on Toms of the best SSD's in each price bracket. You should eyeball it, but be wary of OCZ always in the SSD market.
