My case came with a cpu, vga, and HD temp reader. They are these wires with some plastic around them. Oviously you put them somewhere. I need to know where to put them. I have the cpu one right now inside the heatsink but it reads a temp much colder then what it is. Same with the vga. Please help me.

You just need to get the probes as close as possible to the cpu, vga, hd, etc. Don't put it between the heatsink and cpu, vga, etc. Just as close to it as possible. That is about the best you can do :)

Folken...how close is close?...on the heatsink is OK ?...but doesnt the air from the cooling fan distort the reading?...which is the best place to install the probe?..

I am not familiar with the prob...is the prob a thin layer of some material that you can STICK to a surface?

it is pretty much a little resistor with a plastic coating. You cant put it between the heatsink and cpu, chipset, etc as that would kill heat transfer ability :)
I just stick my temp probs right up against the side of the cpu, chipset, etc and it seems to give a fairly accurate reading. Just get it as close to the cpu, chipset, etc as possible with out getting between it and the heatsink.

lol, at first glance i thought you were recomending to put the probe in between the chip and the heat sink rofl, i about had a heart attack rofl.

this is my boomstick!

You attach temp sensors to a front mounted lcd temp guage or fan controller.
A little lcd temp guage or fan controller with come w/ temp sensors and everything. They are very handy and most are not that expensive.

I have a temp guage & the sensors.
How do I attach them to the mother board? I saw in pictures on cooler masters web site they had some kind of tape. What kind of tape should I use? Was this supposed to come with it?
Thanks

ohhh... now I under stand ya :)
There is a special thermal tape you can get but I usually just use electrical tape. It's not quite as good as the thermal tape but it holds the sensor in place so that is good enough :)
