Hey everyone, :pfff:

I've been having problems playing PC games lately (EVE Online and Heroes of Newearth to name a few)... basically any game I play will crash the whole PC after a few minutes. It doesn't with ALL games, but most. For instance, it wont crash while I'm playing a flash game in my web browser, or any other program (like Word, or other software). I updated all my drivers, scanned for viruses and everything seems to be working optimally without any noticeable problems.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
RAM: 4.00 GB
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Version: 6.1.7600 Build 7600
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor, 3013 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
Available Physical Memory: 2.36 GB
Total Virtual Memory: 8.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory: 6.46 GB
Page File Space: 4.00 GB

I can't afford to purchase any new hardware so if anyone has any idea how I could fix the problem please let me know. If you need any more information don't be afraid to leave me a message.

Thank you so much!

Solution
its the fan on your card not spinning up enough during gameplay, go to the Nvidia setting and put it up to 50% atleast as it wont turn up untill its too late.

driver issue and also card bios issue

When you say crash, does it Blue screen or does it just go straight off, no warning? This could determine if its the PSU not outputting enough for the graphics card under load. Or if its something else.
