I'm so depressed how Daredevil didn't meet my expectations of the greatness it could've achieved. The story in the movie deviated quite a bit from the comic. I'll let that by because whenever you're transferring a comic to video, you have to make some changes. Secondly, THE PLOT!!! OH THE PLOT! IT COULD HAVE BEEN WONDEROUS!!! IT COULD HAVE BEEN AN INSPIRATION TO ANYONE WITH A DISABILITY OR WEAKNESS (with is most anybody in one thing or another). HOWEVER, it feels like 50% of the movie was cut to fit the ~90min time frame!!! It could've been even better than Spiderman!!! Why couldn't they make it 3hrs long? Then the plot would've been firm and smooth!!! WHY!!! WHY!!! WHY!!! Why does Lord of the Rings get 3hrs and Daredevil doesn't? 3hrs would've allowed them to perfect the plot. Anyone else out there agree with me? Any Daredevil fans out there who like/dislike the movie? Obviously there's going to be a sequel but this one was mediocre!! It could've been a MEGA BLOCKBUSTER!!!!
Intelligence is not merely the wealth of knowledge but the sum of perception, wisdom, and knowledge.
My friend saw it before it came out and he said it was horrible. He is a huge comic collector so I trust his judgement. I guess I'll wait to rent it or download it. I agree it could have been a really well made movie but they just destroyed some of the characters in the movie. Collin Ferral as Bullseye?? C'mon!! And what is up with Bullseye's costume?? They ruined it is what's up. They took one of the coolest costumes and made it look like a guy who was stepping out of the "Blue Oyster Bar" from Police Acadamey! That's my 2 cents anyway.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. -Vezzini and Inigo</font color=blue>
I disagree.
I thought overall the movie was great. Despite flaws here and there, it managed to entertain me, and the way the sound wave vision concept was represented, was truly exciting and awesome IMO.
Yes it was brutal, quite more than any super hero ones I've seen yet. But I didn't mind it and thought it added zing.
The storyline, albeit could've been more, was still captivating and at times I was touched.
And why do people pick on Affleck is beyond me, I personally found his role dead on, perfect for DD, and is great. Just cuz he's engaged to J.Lo doesn't mean he should be picked on!
My rating?
4/5, not more not less.
