New System

I am building a new system for myself and am needing some information about the case and/or power supply I will need. I plan on building my system with the following components:

Asus A8V Deluxe MB
AMD Athlon 64 3200 939 CPU
WD 74GB Raptor Hard Drive
and just a basic AGP 8X graphic card.

I do not do alot of gamming. My main use is data mining and manipulation eg. quicken, excel, access. I am looking for speed in accessing data.

How much wattage do I need in a power supply? Also since I am planning on buying the raptor HD do I need a special power connector for an SATA device. Thanks for your help.

I would say you should go for a PCI express Mobo and graphics card. You can get them for almost the same price and stay future proof. The Raptor is certainly fast but How much RAM are you using? I think this affects the speed with which you can load your files. But I am not an expert. maybe you should seek advice in the RAM forums.
Also I would like to know how fast datamining in excel and access. One of my friend who does similar said mysql is faster. any thoughts.
